At a SGM on 20 January, Bob Higgs received Life Membership to the Waikato Sport Fishing Club, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Club.

This contribution is not only as a Gold sponsor over many years through Supreme Sheetmetals, but also by fostering his family with supporting the Club, and his willingness to allow his employees the freedom to partake in the running of the club.
